Brings back memories, Tiff. I too have stood on that shore and appreciated the same scene... but probably 20yrs ago now.

The screens are different makes, diferent ages, and even different sizes. I always notice a little different brightness/contrast. I just found it very interesting that with this photo it was almost as if it were two photos take about 20 minutes apart as the sunlight would change about that much over 15-20 minutes at that time of day.

Beautiful- very interesting... as I move the photo from one screen on my computer to the other there appears to be a time shift of about 20 minutes - slight differences in the screen characteristics.

We'll we got there before the crowds came off the subways and set up everything ahead of time. We tried to keep out of the way of people for the most part too.
